Canva AI
About
Canva is an online design platform founded in Australia in 2012 and launched in 2013. It is used by hundreds of millions of people to create social media posts, presentations, documents, videos, websites and print designs, and it now includes a large set of AI tools.
Canva’s AI features, often grouped under Magic Studio and Canva AI, generate images, write and rewrite copy, remove backgrounds, resize designs for different formats, create presentations from a prompt and help design layouts. They suit marketers, small businesses, teachers and anyone who needs good-looking designs without professional design software.
As of October 2026, Canva has a Free plan, Canva Pro at $18 a month or $180 a year for one person, Canva Business at $25 per person per month, and Enterprise pricing. Paid plans include a monthly AI allowance, and prices are lower in some countries, including India. Canva Pro offers a free trial.
