Loom is a screen and video recording tool founded in San Francisco in 2015 and acquired by Atlassian in 2023. It lets people record quick videos of their screen and camera to share updates, walkthroughs and feedback without a meeting.
Teams use Loom for product demos, bug reports, onboarding, sales outreach and async updates. Loom AI generates titles, summaries, chapters and tasks, removes filler words and silences, lets users edit by transcript, creates meeting notes and can turn recordings into Jira tickets.
As of October 2026, Loom has a free Starter plan, Business at $18 per user a month and Business + AI at $24 per user a month, with up to 17% off annually, plus Enterprise pricing. Loom AI features require the Business + AI plan.
