Freshdesk is a customer support help desk made by Freshworks, a software company founded in Chennai, India, in 2010. Freshworks went public on Nasdaq in 2021 and serves businesses around the world.
Support teams use Freshdesk for ticketing, automation, SLAs, knowledge bases and reporting, with Freshdesk Omni adding chat, phone and messaging. Freddy AI includes the Freddy AI Agent, a customer-facing bot, Freddy AI Copilot for agents, and Freddy AI Insights.
As of October 2026, Freshdesk has a Free plan, Growth at $19 per agent a month, Pro at $55 and Enterprise at $89, all billed annually, after a 2026 price increase. Freddy AI Copilot costs about $29 per agent a month on Pro and Enterprise, and AI Agent sessions are sold in packs after an initial free allowance.
