About
ClickUp is a project management and productivity platform founded in San Diego in 2017. It combines tasks, docs, whiteboards, chat, goals and dashboards in one workspace, aiming to replace several separate work tools.
Teams use ClickUp to plan projects, track work, write documentation and automate routine updates. Its AI layer, ClickUp Brain, writes and summarises content, answers questions about work in the workspace, generates tasks and powers AI fields and agents.
As of October 2026, ClickUp has a Free Forever plan, Unlimited at about $10 per user a month ($7 billed annually), Business at about $19 per user a month ($12 annually) and Enterprise pricing. ClickUp Brain is a separate add-on, typically around $9 per member a month, charged for every paid member in the workspace.
