Adobe Firefly
About
Adobe Firefly is Adobe’s family of generative AI models and its creative AI app, launched in March 2023. Adobe trains its own Firefly models on licensed content such as Adobe Stock and public-domain material, and positions them as safe for commercial use.
Designers, marketers and content teams use Firefly to generate images from text, extend or edit photos, create short videos, make sound effects and translate videos. Firefly also powers features such as Generative Fill in Photoshop, and the Firefly app gives access to selected partner models from other AI companies.
As of October 2026, Firefly has a Free tier with a small number of monthly credits, Firefly Standard at $9.99 a month, Firefly Pro at $19.99 a month, Firefly Pro Plus and Firefly Premium at $199.99 a month for high-volume work. Creative Cloud Pro also includes Firefly credits. Premium features such as video use more credits than standard image features.
