About
Switch is software from SandboxAQ that puts AI agents into the chat tools teams already use. It is part of SandboxAQ’s Flint AI line of agent products and launched on Product Hunt on September 8, 2026.
Agents join Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram or Mattermost channels as named participants, sharing the same messages and history as the people in the room. Switch works with agents built on Claude Code, OpenAI, Google ADK, LangChain, Amazon Bedrock and custom frameworks, and includes permission controls so owners decide who can talk to each agent and where.
Switch is free and self-hostable. Its code is public under the Apache 2.0 licence with the Commons Clause, which allows internal use and modification but bars selling Switch itself, so it is not open source under the formal OSI definition.
