About

Gamma is an AI presentation and content platform founded in San Francisco in 2020. It lets users create polished slide decks, documents, web pages and social posts from a short prompt, pasted notes or an uploaded file.

Founders, consultants, teachers and marketers use Gamma to produce pitch decks, reports, proposals and simple websites without designing each slide by hand. Content is built from flexible cards rather than fixed slides, and can be exported to PowerPoint, Google Slides or PDF.

As of October 2026, Gamma has a Free plan with one-time AI credits, Plus at around $10 a month ($8 billed annually), Pro at around $20 a month ($15 billed annually), an Ultra plan for heavy users, and team plans. Paid plans include monthly AI credits.

  • Good default design: Layouts look modern with little effort.
  • Flexible formats: The same content works as slides, a document or a website.
  • Free plan to try: Users can create a few projects before paying.

Cons

  • Less precise control: Designers may find card-based layouts harder to fine-tune than PowerPoint.
  • Credit limits: AI credits limit how much you can generate each month.
