About
ElevenLabs is an AI audio company founded in 2022 by two friends from Poland. It is widely regarded as a leader in realistic AI voices, used for audiobooks, videos, podcasts, games, customer service agents and accessibility.
Users convert text into natural-sounding speech in many languages, clone their own voice, dub videos into other languages, generate sound effects and music, and build conversational voice agents for phone and web support.
As of October 2026, ElevenLabs has a Free plan for non-commercial use, Starter at $6 a month with a commercial licence and instant voice cloning, Creator at $22 a month with professional voice cloning, and Pro, Scale, Business and Enterprise plans for higher volumes. Usage is measured in credits based on characters generated.

Mati Staniszewski is the co-founder and CEO of ElevenLabs, which he started in 2022 with his childhood friend Piotr Dąbkowski. Staniszewski previously worked at Palantir and Dąbkowski at Google.
